Biometrics scheduled after 6 months
hi! I filed I485 in Dec2023. I am current in EB1C since then. Normally we get biometrics in 2 weeks. But I got biometrics this month after 6 months.. Have anyone seen this kind of scenario? btw, they had approved my I765 and I131 in 40 days without biometrics!
Have anyone seen this kind of scenario? For me this indicates some positve development as I do not believe they are stating to work on my file right now… as there were few updates internally in May24

Hi, my biometrics were scheduled after 4 months but I still haven’t heard anything back after doing them.

hello which did you apply from country? ı filed in 21 june. But we didnot take any bio sch.

@G L I filed in early March. what about you? I got biometrics done on 1st July. it was scheduled for 17th July. I walked in to USCIS office and got it done earlier.
I spoke with Emma, the agent said that case is still pending at NBC and not transferred to field office which usually adjudicates the I-485. you should ask Emma about yours.

@cloud 8 No! mine is on 17th and I do not walk-in and give as it is risky… I prefer to go on scheduled day. If I go on other than scheduled day they may consider ‘no show’ on scheduled day even if you have given on other day

@G L I don’t think it would be a problem if you walk in early. they register you in the system and a lot of people have done it and had no issues.
