Biometrics request for the petitioner
My daughter was under 21 when I filed her I-130, and now she’s 21. Her case has finally moved, but USCIS sent me, the petitioner, to do the biometric appointment. I’m a U.S. citizen.
From my research, it seems this is okay since she has now aged out and is 21, but I wanted to hear from others. Has anyone else had this experience? Please share your thoughts.

I called USCIS and I was told it’s common now for petitioners to do biometrics. it still doesn’t make sense
