Biometrics request for the petitioner
My daughter was under 21 when I filed her I-130, and now she’s 21. Her case has finally moved, but USCIS sent me, the petitioner, to do the biometric appointment. I’m a U.S. citizen. From my research, it seems this is okay since she has now aged out and is 21, but I wanted to hear from others. Has anyone else had this experience? Please share your thoughts.

she’s F2A with 669 days. so is that still normal for me to be requested to do the biometrics?

I called USCIS and I was told it’s common now for petitioners to do biometrics. it still doesn’t make sense
