biometrics
hi guys i have a question please !
An April 2023 filer here (vawa). I still haven’t received an appointment for my biometrics and I see that in average other filers get their appointments within few week from receipt date. It’s been almost 6 months.
it this normal ? Do I have anything to worry about ?

it’s normal. I didn’t get biometrics until after 6months and my vawa was approved at exactly 2yrs without rfe

I never got mine either , they received my VAWA on Jan 19 and I got my Prima facie March 6th nothing else since.

I sent my vawa on April and I didn’t get any biometrics appointment they just took my fingerprints from old marriage case

@ayoade kay Hi Ayo, thanks for sharing your process here. I first filed May 2022 but my lawyer messed my process up filing something wrong on my application. They returned it in January then re applied by February.
•receipt arrived in April.
•went for biometrics on the 16th, June. •received Prima Facie in July.
I would like to know how long it took to get your EAD after biometrics.

I filed May 5 2023 no biometric appointment yet got prima facia about a month ago
