to add to the issues the case status hasn't been updated with biometric appointments for any of us

I was able to walk-in a week early by showing I had travel booked for when I was due. It is at the center's discretion if they let you in.

@louis calvert by local office you mean the ASC mentioned in the notice ?

@amit m If your biometrics appt is scheduled and it’s during the same time of your trip, you can go earlier to your ASC location. I suggest you go on maybe the 14 and 15. Take proof that you have travel plans and maybe, they can take you earlier.

I had experience with calling USCIS customer support and request rescheduling the biometric. It was pretty smooth. For our case we were outside United States when we received biometrics appointment and couldn’t return by the date. I had to make 2 calls.. one for myself and one for dependent. there was no update on case till the original biometric date but later we received new appointments notice in mail. I tried walkin into the ASC in Dallas north along with kids and was turned away sternly.

I was able to get it done for my kids and wife in the afternoon, by going there twice.if there is capacity and they have a genuine reason they will take you in. I went for my own biometrics as per the appointment letter.
