@T T Thank you for responding! My case is in Miami, however right now is in Virginia. Ice took forever because my lawyer didn’t filed online properly and they didn’t want to respond since needs to be filed up to their expectations and there is no clear user guide how to do so. However once filed right way we got response in 2 months.

I didn’t know really my loyer did it

Mine took about a month after joint motion to reopen approved by ICE. May 2024 to June 2024. My case was in Baltimore

hey @Tamara D I’m in a similar boat as you. PD was sent last week and after we get a joint motion we will send it to BIA. Any advice you can give on the process would be greatly appreciated!

@Tamara D sorry i just opened the app 😊it was all done thru my lawyer. BIA letter stated notice date was June 11th, my lawyer received it on June 17th and the emailed me the news.

@Tamara D so i never received the letter via mail but my lawyer send me a copy of it thru email. are you using a lawyer?

@Tamara D the letter from BIA said “case reopened and DISMISSED without prejudice”. Not sure whats the difference with “TERMINATED”

@John Wayne Hey there, it’s pretty much straightforward and more like formula. I would say sending PD was the trickiest for my lawyer, he was doing it wrong so many times. Once the eservice portal showed that documents were accepted it was a relief. It will take around 2 months for response from ICE and around 2 months for the BIA termination. Once you receive that termination letter from BIA you can adjust the status but you have to submit that letter with the rest of the documents. 🙌

@John Wayne i honestly can’t remember! had so much going on immigration wise lately- can’t pick up all the dates but i want to say like 2 weeks!

@John Wayne Yes! Although the letter in hands is what you want! When did they granted PD? Was it Trump administration?

@Tamara D I got PD right before trump came into office. I had requested PD months before but luckily it was granted before trump came in
