Hey Lawfully family
i know how hard it is opening this app everyday multiple times to see any updates.
To let you guys know i received my Combo approval few days back. Same like most of you people i really had to visit my family for an emergency and exact same time i got my approval.
am just posting to let you guys know about something.
If your case is outside normal processing time try submitting a service request and wait for their response. If their response is the same copy pasted message like due to high volume of cases it is taking longer leave it and then
try reaching the state senator and ask him for assistance.One of my Lawfully friend suggested me this.
Let him know like you tried sending service request and there was no use in doing that.
I did the same this month (dec 9th) and the senator office officials contacted me the same day itself and told that they enquired about that and i will get a response in 30 days.
Am not sure whether it is because i reached out to them or not i got approved for my combo card after 20 days of my enquiry to the state senator.
May be it might be a co incidence but still give it a try.
May be it will help.
I received am email from them Today as well regarding congrats on my approval.
i din mention anything to them like i got approved but that means they really talk with USCIS officials about the updates and then they came to know that i got approved.
i was just letting you guys know about this may be it will help atleast 1% of applicants waiting for approval.
i really wish and hope all our dreams will come true soon.
We don't need any benefits from this country
we just need our papers and health to work.
Only immigrants know how life is and what family relationship is.

how do you know your case is outside normal processing time
i applied in oct 2022 and still waiting and uscis said your case is within normal processing time
please help

if you passed 17.5 months then your case is outside normal times this is for I-485

you can go to Google and search find out the state senator
then go and enter your zip code and they will show who is your senator.
you have to go to their website and fill a form called privacy sharing form something like that.
And they will contact you via email with further details.
just go to USCIS. case processing section and enter your receipt number and you can see when your case is outside processing time or not

i filed on Jan23
and my EAD & PAROLE case was outside processing time.
USCIS says that always like your case is processing normally.
Go to Google and search USCIS case processing time.Then go to their website and enter your receipt number and see what is the average time mentioning for similar cases and then check whether your case is outside that mentioned time. If yes submit a service request nd if that din help you out to like what i mentioned in the post

I’m from Sep 2022 and still waiting for my EAD. I reached out state senator in Nov 29th but still no reply from USCIS. I’ve tried congressman too. Nithing happened… I want to cry 😭

if you don't find it working then try expediting the process.
one of my friend made a letter from India stating his mom is I'll and he submitted for emergency parole.Uscis field office said that they have to sent the documents to NBC and it will take around 2 weeks to get the emergency PAROLE.
the very next day he got his EAD and parole(the actual parole) approved.
Your case is way too outside processing time.
Try to expedite.

it is just a computer generated message which they sent to everyone automatically.

@Muhammad Ameen Anvar Did your friend send any proof or doctors letter? No one in my family is ill, so I can’t prove it if USCIS asks me. Also I’m still ok financially. I don’t meet the criteria for expediting 😔

@Tina C yes he had a letter from the hospital in India stating his mom is sick and he have to reach India soon for her surgery coz there is nobody to look after her and he was trying to get it done for an emergency PAROLE.But thank God he got his case approved in 2 -3 days.He was supposed to get a combo card but because of expediting it ended up with regular EAD and ADV PAROLE.
It's not hard to get a doctor statement from our home country.Try getting one stating somebody close to you is sick and then try it
