backlog Eb3-EW
+40K people are waiting for consular process and +5k people are waiting for AOS for EB3 unskilled. this is a huge backlog which can take years to process. can anyone explain how this will effect FY 2025 and how much the final action and filing date will advance in the upcoming October 24 visa bulletin.

I think this FY2025 will cover a half of 2021

@sam young my understanding is this is the reason all visa no. are being used but still we are on 2020. oct 2020 will give us more clarity and final action and filing. if filing does not move much then understand that there is still huge no of ppl wating in 2021. otherwise aos no are too low for this slug movement.

@G C well said I have the same feeling. if filing date doesn’t move forward there is still a backlog

correct, that’s why I’m said maybe FY2025 maybe cover a half of 2021

Last year’s October Visa Bulletin moved only one month. I won’t be surprised if it happens again this year, and then they keep moving every 3 months. I really hope for a movement of at least one year, but I don’t think it will be that.
