background check is final step?
I am wondering if background check is the final step before decision my case pending since January 2021
when i did inquiry throughout congreswoman answer was background check
question is they completed everything they wont be asking any RFE once background check clear they will decide?

@j m yes i did everything right I am working as an engineer pay my tax no criminal record not even single traffic violations I hope it will be my year🙏

@tired from waitingg they sent the same message to my congressman. I want to believe it’s a generic message they send out so those people won’t bother them. In the message, they said they can reach out to them back after 6 months. So I guess they are buying time

I’m in the same situation, my i360 approved last year September and no update on i485 no rfe medical, they said background check security clearance, I dd submmited fbi background check since 2021, and I read someone commented that it’s not a good sign if they sent note background check, they will deny you without explanation, I’m not sure if there is any truth to it, but I see people get approval faster and still stuck on background.

@Kaya don i know so many people stuck with background check and got approved well at least yout vawa approvef

@waiting_since Dec_2019 question do u get regularly prima facie? also did you convert your I130 to 360? do u have marriage base 485 thats pending? also in marriage case is denied? thank you
for me i have I130 i with 485 from marriage case i m gettin work permit based on that
also i get denied from marriage case cuz my ex literally drop the sponsorship

yes I get regularly pf. I have a I 360 and 485. I never filled any case related to my marriage.
