AVOIND GETTING A NEW RFE (?)
Hi guys, I filled my i-485 and combo card, i-130 on January 2022. and in June I got an RFE for taxes for the current year (I didn’t send originally because I haven’t filled yet). I answered the rfe and I’ve been waiting since, but at least 4 months ago only my employment was approved. My case on i-485 hasn’t changed the message “ response to USCIS’ request for evidence was received” since June 2022. So my question is… should I send my taxes again, even though they didn’t ask yet? I’m just trying to avoid getting a new RFE.

how did you send your response? by mail or upload on the USCIS account? If you uploaded, the status would change immediately after. in case, you have sent by mail, you should check it by the tracking number from USPS, and you can talk with Emma to make sure they have received your response.

upload as unsolicited avidence, when they send RFE they do check those documents.

if your update says they received your response then no you do not need to upload them or send them again. I waited 126 days between update changes from RFE response received to USCIS is actively reviewing your case. once you receive the update saying they have received you’re response you’re fine :)

the problem is that I sent the taxes 2021. and they didn’t ask for another RFE, but should I send my taxes 2022 since we are already in 2023.?
