I will wait for a little bit more. They must be sure that everything is correct and they don’t miss anything in order to avoid possible RFE’s in the future, especially nowadays when the immigration process is getting so tough. My lawyer did exactly the same.

keep pressuring them though. ask for a timeline, nothing to irritate. if you sent all the docs they should get it done. usually majority of attorneys take about 3 weeks. did you also send your medical to them and they filled out your i485 and made you sign it? @Guven Yurek

@Immigration Guy i personally delivered the medical to their office to make sure it will be not lost on delivery/ or delay. they did not make me sign anything yet. but its good to know that majority of the attorneys takes it around 3 week. i thought mine is really slow. i will keep push them then. thanks a lot for your thoughts and information

I agree with the comment above, Try to get a clear timeline from them. My lawyer wasted 10 months between applications, because I thought they were competent enough and will do their job. I hope your experience will not be bad like mine, but just to be safe try getting that timeline.

One thing I've learned the hard way is that you have to be extremely proactive about your visa issues. No one cares if you go out of status, and it's all to your detriment. So, even if you sound like a pain in the ass, I recommend you press your lawyer.

@Anto A i am pushing them when i can, but either they dont answer, or just they say calm down we will send it within october. i will keep push them anyway and i agree we have to be proactive in our cases, since attorneys has lots of cases and they dont care as much as we do :) thanks for your thoughts
