Atlanta Interview: No status change 1 week later
I had my marriage based interview last week. Officer was concerned about a particular address I had after we got married and wanted more proof that we live together. He also wanted my medical sent because it wasn’t ready as of the date of the interview. He gave us an envelope after that. My lawyer has prepared a response and ready to send soon. Has anyone else received an envelope after their interview? I thought it was usually a mail for RFE. What are my chances now?

@dee what was the issue with the particular address you had after y’all got married and how did the officer know about this address? please share. my interview is in 4 weeks.

he did a pull up I think on my ssn and the address came up. he was confused how I had another address and claimed to be living together with my husband. I don’t use that address so I basically had to send him a bunch of things to show further co-mingling and that I live together with my partner.

you should know I haven’t gotten any decision yet but I included Walgreens monthly prescription with the address, a police report I had due to an incident clearly showing the address, usps informed delivery mail to the address, drivers license with the address, AT&T bill and Costco membership. Fingers crossed.
