Asylum granted after 10 years
finally I got asylum approval after 10 years ,
thanks to the community here for all the tips!
now , when do you recommend to apply for green card ? I know it has to be after one year but can I apply before? because I know it takes time . thank you

yes you can apply before, you need 1 year of presence WHEN OFFICER WILL ADJUDICATE your case!

I agree 6 months is the sweet spot, but it’s up to you. You can apply immediately, I personally applied after 4 months. But if rumors of temporary pause are true you could apply right away. Good luck!
