@Foday Mansaray congratulations brother! I waited almost 7 years for my approval. I’d immediately apply for I-131 as it takes about 14 months to get approved, and I’d immediately file I-730 to bring your kids and spouse here to the US. As far as I-485 is concerned you should probably apply before Trump gets to office, however, keep in mind if your petition is adjudicated too early they might reject your petition and you’d have to apply again. I filed my I485 without medical per advice from my attorney so as to win time in case my petition is considered too early. let’s see what the community here recommend as well.

also I730 is free of charge. if you apply for I131 together with your green card application it should be free. you’d only pay the green card app fee which is $1440 as of today I believe.

hey @Foday Mansaray as a paralegal I'd suggest you to apply for greencard before the next administration is sworn in on January 20th to benefit from the current rule where you dont have to wait for 1 year to apply. get your medical report ready in the next week and apply together with travel document application. i730 is free but you may get delays from the new administration so I'd say apply asap and depending on your family's situation you can try to ask for an expedite. I'm running a community and bring attorneys for people to ask questions. you can also ask any private questions there if you'd like: https://www.skool.com/uscis/ good luck and congrats!! 🎉

congrats bro. - green card application is 1 year after you were granted asylum - you can apply for traveling document now but it’s valid for one and you’ll need a green card in order to travel. so my advice is to apply for traveling document at the time you apply for green card so both get approve at once. - you can apply for you kids now and it’s free because if you wait 2 years after asylum approval, there’s a fee.
