Asylum application waiting time

I am on F1 visa status. I am plat to apply for asylum. would to get an idea about the average time will take to get to the interview stage. the USCIS website sayi that new applications take max of 180 is that true?

If you’re on F1 visa then most probably your asylum case will be denied.

@first last I don’t know why. I just saw many people getting denied asylum when they went to usa with F1 visa. You should talk to a lawyer about it and check what he suggests. Also you can post your questions on asylumist blogger. Just google it and you’ll find it
