asylum and I-130 .
Hello, I have pending asylum with Uscis for more than 4 years, I am married to an American citizen and I have a baby in care, we present the I-130 to then complete the 601a and continue the consular process, but in the states of the consular process I cannot To return to my country, I could have the interview at another consulate because I requested asylum and my country I don't know if it would let me in and if I entered it would not let me out, greetings.

If it is correct, that is why I am wondering if I could go to another consulate in this type of process, because I cannot return to my country.

I think it’s more better if you can ask to lawyer, because maybe we can give to you any advice but it’s not 100% accurate because every process is different

My question is if you are in the US, why would you have your interview in another country? I need to know in case someone ask me, thanks in advance.

@leodan Peralta I had the same fate and they had already sent me a visa but I declined since u have a pending asylum and and am here in the USA together with my spouse so I went to a lawyer they requested my I-130 to be returned back and filed an adjustment of status i-485 so I will highly advise you do not seek consular interview elsewhere

if your i-130 is approved just do adjustment of status best of success on your journey

@Diamond Queen sometimes they do that especially if you filled without a lawyer and when you go back they will definitely deny you in the case of a pending asylum

si entraste al país y fuiste admitido legalmente. puedes hacer un ajusto dentro del país . sin necesidad de regresar a tu país de origen . donde solicitaste asilo! de lo contrario si no fue así contrata a un buen abogado

Hello, yes, I am in the USA but when I entered through the border I did not receive a parol. I have been waiting for the asylum interview with Uscis for 4 years but they say that the waiting time takes up to 10 years. I met my wife who is a citizen and we have a baby but how I entered without parole, I would have to do the consular process after the 601 a pardon, but I don't know if I could find a 3 country for the consular interview since I can't return to my country because it won't let me enter.
