I came to US through Mexican border in January 2023, I was given April 2024 for “Notice to Appear”. How do I start my Asylum journey?

create an account with USCIS and file form I-589 (asylum) online with USCIS.

You need to apply for asylum within 1 year of arriving in the US 🇺🇸 so I suggest you file ASAP

I@Tracia D I did not enter US with visa, I entered through the Mexican border from Mexico. The DHS took us to their facility, where we were detained and processed before being allowed to enter the US

my lawyer sent out my application today through online application. He told me it does not come with tracking receipt, thank you.
