what is your experience with mandamus law suit

I did sue them last month and it’s has been 30 days . no update yet

filed oct 14, proof service oct 17, approved oct 30, delivered nov 8

i am about to file it next week

Should I need to wait for 19.5 months?

I did mine after 15 months

anything after 12 month it’s considered a unreasonable delay, that what my attorney said .

based from what I know mandamus lawsuit it’s based on historical processing times which is 10.5 months not actual processing times that is 19.5 months

@mike t i applied last 9month how many more I need to wait to file mandums

when I filed a lawsuit the processing time for green card applications was 16 month but now it went up to almost 20 months . you can filed anytime after 15 months but you have to convince judge that your case has been unreasonable delay then judge gonna send summons to the agency . one more thing if agency find out it’s not a unreasonable delay they can file motion to dismiss the lawsuit . it’s all up to you . that’s what mine understanding .

at least 15 months but I will recommend you don’t do it . specially with this administration I know it’s sounds funny because I did it but know I feels like a I made mistake . I should not do it .
