bro where did you heard that it is for 1 year? it was 5 years before and later this administration reduced it to 18 months. do not float rumors of 1 year. it was never 1 year

@G S i’ve heard from multiple people about the 1 year validity, I thought mine would’ve been 1 year as well so it’s definitely real. thanks for your comment

whoever told you this is not even closer to immigration news at all. this administration changed this to 18 months as soon as they got into office. As far as my knowledge of 12 years it was 2 years and then Biden administration change it to 5 years in 2022 or 2023.

@Dec 2024 - Case Was Approved my VAWA has not been approved yet. I applied sept 2024 and received my 5years EAD and AP in March 2025

it was 5 years they switched to 18 months there is no such thing a year anymore it used be a year

@Dec 2024 - Case Was Approved I did at the 12 month they they responded “We reviewed your inquiry and are unable to respond at this time” at this point it doesn’t matter I don’t have to travel due to the new laws

its same AP ,only valid period changed because uscis only issue 18 month validiy on EAD and AP instead of 5 year , i got 5 year AP last year but this year everybody getting only 18 month

does marriage done on visa considered overstay

I got 5 years but that was December 2024
