@S K @Suzy K absolutely no. this is fact sheet from uscis website. for July 2023- fastest was Cuban 5 month, followed by family and eb (13 months) and others in 24-36 months range. within EB, 485 for EB2 and EB3 are fastest, followed by eb1c and then eb1b. the slowest eb 485 adjudication is for eb1 a. all data from uscis and not from my mind 😀

@d s does it say why first preference takes the longest? and if this is information is accurate , how is it that at least 2 eb1a cases got approved in less than 90 days just this week? I’m so confused.

@Suzy K I am not sure of the reason. I can speculate that many eb1 a and b cases have long US history. many start from US graduate degrees, multiple visas, multiple entry exit, and many things to verify and check. In contrast, EB1C have shorter history. Barring the porting from over cases, most eb1c have shorter Us stay and visa history. but I am speculating 🤔. Why you saw couple cases move faster can be exception or maybe they have shorter history. I cannot tell precisely but data shows the result. unfortunately not in my favor.

here is Hiltes summary all time 485 time (EB1 1291 days, EB2 1805 days, EB3 3926, EB4 1224 days, CR1 - 429 (fastest), F1/F2 - 400-500days, ) In any given year, some would get more priorities and maybe it depends on the their factor like pandemic, global economics etc. but this data is strong

above has lot of retrogression issues also, but current month or year processing also shows similar ratios. currently all adjudications are better the the above all time numbers

I hope so. historic processing times shows 8.9 months for fy23…

@d s thanks for the info! could you link the website you saw for the numbers? I'm interested to check myself as well. I suppose the time will depend a lot based on the nationality as well? do you know if there are numbers provided for each nationality type? (china, india, ROW etc)
