Here is my journey and I would like to encourage someone who is or has lost hope.
I started on 07/2021 filed for both 130 & 485 unfortunately my 130 was approved and sent overseas for consular processing and unfortunately I could not travel since am on a pending asylum it took another 8months to get it back and I had to file a new gc all over again since in 2022 got my 131 traveled for a month and was scheduled an interview though emma said my interview was waived a number of times so dont believe everything from emma.came back went through 2nd inspection I was not asked anything was handed my passport and was allowed back so if have parole please use it don't hold back was scared but was advised as long as I don't go back to my country of asylum am ok. my interview was ok I guess lasted for almost 1h 30min Qs were were did we meet and if we had photos of our wedding we did not and if we have met each others parents we have not it's just the 2 of us and our baby so hang in there your time is coming

but why you have to get your i130 back? don’t understand that! at the beginning of my husband case we was doing consular processing and his i130 was sent to nvc them circumstances changes and he was able to do AOS and the lawyer just sent an email to nvc that he was doing adjustments of status instead of consular processing and we did not have any problem, did not have to fill anything to get it back his i130, he got his GC a year ago with no problem @approved name

@Alina li that was my understanding at that time since I had already filed my adjustment of status and I did not have a lawyer at that time so when I called customer services they would tell to request nvc to send the documents back to uscis and they gave me 180 days however after 180 days it was still the same back and forth until I decided to get a lawyer and within 1week of him drafting everything I got my paperwork in order
