@Francesca Vig congratulations. I have the same condition. I will be shortly outstanding too for I 131. so how you relate that SR for I 131 with I 485?

I put in a service request for my i131 last week Friday and I got the I512L yesterday. my case status for the I131 updated yesterday that the service request was complete. PD Sep 2022.

@Vera P we have contacted uscis to request to review the status as i am current but it shows crp and there is a latency. some people believe if there is a service request there is a chance for you to be updated as approved sooner. not sure but i am pressing all the buttons that i find to be approved:)

i believe there is a way. i insisted my lawyers to initiate SR for all family members and they did. i have the SR numbers for all of us. but i had no idea if they do anything about it, no feedback, nothing

@M R @WRV NIW ROW @Ati Ozk to answer your questions: the service request placed my case in the spotlight, so it led Uscis to pay attention to my case in general and not only to my outstanding I-131. Since my I-131 was outstanding, and my PD was current, I guess it was just easier and more convenient in terms of time expenses to just go ahead and adjudicate my case as a whole. As a matte of fact my I-131 was never approved but rather closed because benefit was obtained through other means. It took exactly 30 days, which is the max period allowed to provide an answer to the applicant.
This is just my personal experience and opinion but I truly hope it helps you.
