We arrived 20 minutes before they let us go in. We waited like 10 minutes then we were called together ; honestly the officer was really nice super friendly and he didn’t ask a lot questions he just asked about how we met? When? Where was pur wedding? And he asked us what usually we do both together in our free time and the regular I-485 questions. He asked for the exams and he asked if we wanted to give him more proof of our marriage so we gave him our taxes 2020, joint account, medical bills and affidavits. He laughed a lot much caus he couldn’t believe we do have 17 chihuahuas so we showed him pictures and he asked the names. He told since I was 2 years and half married I will get the unconditional Green card also he said he wants to see me in 3 years to apply to become a citizen and explained to me about change my name. Asked a the address and said they will mail the card to me. He walked with us until the door.
If you have any questions feel free to ask I will try to answer the more fast I can. And also I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone here in the group it helped me a lot to feel I wasn’t the only one waiting for so long 😂😂

@Queen A my real name Is Omar, but I go by Mia so I’m trying to change my name but he told me I could change my name once I start my process to become a citizen and make all the process together.

@Queen A No I request it I wanted to change my name or last name but he said it’s not possible at the moment.

I’ve been married to my husband for 3yrs and this coming July will be 4 yrs we’ve already submitted my I-751 6 months ago now he wants to divorce me and stop my case, he’s very controlling and verbally abusive to the point where I ended up in the psych ward for wanting to commit suicide I don’t know what to do

didn’t it even change to card is being produced? no worries tomorrow you will have an update. I’m praying that I might get my GC tomorrow I’m so excited.
