Approved my EAD after expidite request
AOS applied in Oct-2020. No EAD/AP.
- expidited back in Nov with Emma rejected
- expidite request via congressman in Dec, they replied saying still waiting for response from uscis
- Expidited again on 2/9/22 and saw ‘New card is being produced’ under I-795 case status.
case location: Nebraska
expidite reason: 1) severe financial loss to a company or person
My situation: wife is on h4-ead which expires in few months.
I also received medical rfe for I-485 and responded and uscis recoeved on Feb-2. So all cases moving a bit together now.

When you did the expedited again on the 02/09, How did you do it?

@rich- Expidited again on 2/9 by chatting with Emma agent. they did not ask further evidence other than h4-ead expiry date.

I’ve done like 5 expedited requests for healthcare worker, senator and ombudsman request all for healthcare. heard nothing back. been out of work since 11-21. don’t even know what to do anymore

hum, that’s sad. out of work should be a priority 1 reason for expidite I think. H-4 extension and h4-EAD approval is taking 8-10m now and people are going out of work status. when I asked my company lawyers , they also suggested I put an expidite request closer to expiry.
