@abhimanyu panwar,
Congrats !!!. Where was your interview and the questions asked?

Thank you all. Yes, my case was marriage-based. My wife is active duty military, and I was approved for a conditional green card—which I was informed of right after the interview.
During the interview, they asked for documents proving that we’re married and living together. We had more than enough evidence, and the officer didn’t even look at our photos. He asked my wife how we met, who proposed, and how it happened. He asked me about my timeline since arriving in the U.S.—I explained that I came on a B2 visa, later changed to an F1, and now applied for a green card. He recorded that I completed my master’s at George Washington University, and that afterward we got married and filed the petition.
I never had work authorization or travel approval during this time. We did try to expedite the case when my wife received new orders for a transfer, but the request was denied. Still, everything moved quickly—our interview was scheduled, completed, and approved just before she reports to her new office on May 1. Not sure if the expedite helped behind the scenes, but the timing worked out perfectly.
I was very worried about a misdemeanor case from 2023, even though it was dismissed. But the officer clearly stated that it doesn’t make me inadmissible to the U.S. He ended the interview by having me sign the updates he made to the form, and left me with a smile, saying, “Be a good husband and a good U.S. resident.”
