No. family based visa or spouse visa is unlimited. once you cases is confirmed by nvc & they will notify you to submit additional documents, once you submitted it . they will approve it after some days or a month. They will notify Nigeria embassy. Meanwhile embassy is differ e.g china , India , Mexico is different, their wait times is different from another country. Nigeria wait times is very minimum. Nothing like 1.6years
