hi all,
I just received approval today for my advanced parol document to travel. I received it before I i130 and i1485. does anyone have the same experience? also am I able
to legally travel with this document without i1485 in hand?

hi, i got my work permit approved on august 2023 and advance parole februrary 2024, still have 485 and 130 pending. when did you file all your docs?

you can travel if you do not have overstay history. Ot would make it risky

@msmwepu mil, Got my AP approved yesterday and my i485 pending since August 2021, I applied for my AP November 2023 because am tired of waiting for this uscis. my progress says 2months to decision since January 25th 2024

I overstay for 2 years I’m in the process they approved my AP and I went to my country for 40 days everything good 👍😊 I came with visa and I don’t have problems with polices or something

yes I traveled with my advanced parole last year and everything was smooth and all the officers were nice to me. They are so polite and handle me so fast during the second checkpoint, just make sure you don’t play with your phone inside the checkpoint office cause they will watch you all the time.

@Lulla Ycr I got approve of my parole first time I want to travel to my country Guyana I didn’t visit in 5 years what documents did you take with you to travel ??

@bless Emma I bring my passport, advance parole, all copy of I-797 documents, EAD card, my marriage certificate, and my daughter’s birth certificate just in case they ask the proof of relationship. But they don’t ask the supporting documents but only my passport and advance parole, just it.
