I’m thinking about joining the military. My VAWA was approved a week ago, but my green card is still pending. I spoke with a recruiter who gave me paperwork and offered to contact immigration about my green card. I told them I have a lawyer and need to speak with him first. What do you think?"

@Noah Henry i think you have to have a green card in order to join military. If I were you, I would ask USCIS if they can expedite your case because you want to join army. Can military provide you with some kind of letter so you can show USCIS that you will really do that

The recruiter said that he could contact USCIS. I gave him my i360 approval
