I’m a British citizen married to a naturalized American. We’ve been married since August 2022, and met each other about a year before that.
Filed in September 2022 after my ESTA had expired. Expedited EAD successfully in January 2023. No RFEs, no interview.
We initially filed with the San Antonio FO, but we moved from Texas to Chicago in May 2023. Not sure if that triggered the approval. EMMA told me my case was in Albuquerque for some reason.
270 days in total. Not super fast, but better than I was expecting. Good luck to everyone else waiting!

Text messages, photos from wedding and with her family, photos of us traveling the US, affidavit from her mom saying we lived with her, joint cell phone plan, shared health insurance cards, car payments from both our banks accounts, and a joint credit card acceptance letter.
Didn’t have that much and was expecting to bring more to the interview. But apparently it was enough

if you’re from Europe like Germany, UK.. yeah it’s gonna be easy.. but if you’re a naturalised US citizen sponsoring someone from third world countries then expect a very long wait… that’s the why it is unfortunately
