@Pri R u can't understand my question dear i am from pakistan my wife lives in usa we get married as a young couple so i am still waiting for approval last 11 months a go my wife is just us green card holder not a us citizenship some people say that citizenship case approved early and green card case timeline veey long is it happen that effect?

@usama kashif I understand you quite well. The person who posted has their timeline showing what category they are. If your spouse is a permanent resident, you need to update your timeline because yours says US Citizen. You'd be category F2A, not IR1/CR1. Yes, it takes longer for a Permanent Resident, about 2 years I think. Citizens take about a year.

For green card holders it takes longer, process a bit different, but if your wife will able to apply for citizenship during the process and get it, You can notify USCIS about it and this will speed up the process. In any case, I wish you the waiting time flew by quickly🙏
