I don’t think so unless you get citizenship don’t travel to your home country even though u r situation changed to better . Instead u call u r loved to neighbor country and meet.

So I put in an expedite request on my I-131 and today I got this email below. What does this means? Need some answers. “Type of service requested: -- Expedite The status of this service request is: We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly.”

there is a risk envolved. When they interview you for a green card or citizenship, they will ask you if you have been to your home country. but there is no way they know unless you tell them. the problem I see is that applying for a travel document takes almost a year. they literally forcing us to use the passport from the country we escaped from by making us wait without a passport for years. one of my rights to is to be able to travel freely and if you’re making me wait, you’re forcing me to look for alternatives

it is not recommended to travel back home. did you withdraw your asylum case? my interview got cancelled because they haven’t received my asylum files yet.
