Approved After 414 Days i-485 stand alone IR-1
Finally after 1 year and 2 months, the long wait is over. I came in November 2023 under B1/B2 visa and married to a US Citizen for 7 years (since 2017), i have just been visiting him every year under my B1/B2 since marriage because my work is in my home country and only had the petition filed June 2021 (i-130) and approved January 2023. I was given both options to adjust status in the US or to do consular processing in my home country. i chose the former. So I came in the US Nov 2023 with the purpose to adjust my status as it was given to me as a legal pathway. Interview waived.
If there are anyone with similar cases like mine, I am willing to shed some light. I just want tell everyone to never lose hope and patience in the process. You have nothing to fear if you are legally processed. I believe that they have approved more cases now than they did last time.
I hope and pray that all of us will be granted the desires of our hearts. Pray and have peace about it. Our God is good. Everything will fall into place in His right time. I will continually pray for all of us here. ❤️🙏🏻

@mariam T i had 2 RFEs. the first one was January 2024 and they asked for Medical Exam, Affidavit of Support and my birth certificate.. They received it Feb 2024 and never had an update since then. Jan 22, 2025 was the next update, they asked for my passport pages with my B1/B2 visa and my latest i-94 or travel document. I sent it asap January 23 because they recommended i upload it online... January 27, they updated the progress tab that they received the RFE sent January 23. Then 24h after receiving (Jan 28) i got the most awaited Case Approved update. I wish you have an update soon too. my PD was Dec 11, 2023

@Jesus is King yes i think so. Being married for 7 years i think gave a strong legitimacy to my marriage and AOS application. The approved i-130 earlier in January 2023 also is a strong validity of my spousal eligibility for immigrant status.
i initially got worried about the uscis 90-day rule for the AOS but i got an approved petition that says applying for an AOS while in the US was a legal pathway given to me also. All worked well.
