@olajumoke daodu - he’s a citizen. He’s here in the state. I’m the foreign spouse. I came in 2018 with a student visa.

@press on I expedited I-765 before my POST OPT work permit expires... this may... expedite was granted first-time. then I requested to expedite my I-485. they granted expedited process on my second attempt for 485. I'm doing graduate school. I told them that I can't get scholarships since I wasn't an eligible resident. so I would have to be paying out of pocket every semester + my bills. I mention the Teach Grant available for teachers. I'm a math teacher. so after explaining this- I got an email 2 weeks later about granting an expedited process. 485 went on actively reviewed June 8. on June 9 I-130 was reviewed and the approval notice was under the document section. on June 10th I-485 was approved.

@Gilda Malloy congrats! I'm also F1 AOS, PD 4/14/2023, my EAD from F1 OPT expired a month ago and I'm trying to expedite. I still haven't got my biometrics scheduled yet so they denied my expedite request without even asking for evidence/letter. do you mind sharing how you expedite? did you go through congressman? thanks!
