Liya Baboolal am asking the same question too what did you say in your inquiry my i485 been pending for 3 years I have send 2 enquiry already I contacted my congressman for help but nothing happened

how long it took them to approve your 485 after they did approve your 130

Thank you @Liya B I was wondering if you sent outside normal processing times based inquiry before actual outside processing time?

@Bil Aha I only used Emma for basic inquiries and updates but somehow I got through with sending an inquiry for outside processing times in August and I sent one!

@hey hey I spoke to Emma after seeing a notification that they took action on my account who told me my case was approved. That happened around 6pm and the next day I saw the approval notice under documents tab for I-130 and I-485. The progress bar only changed yesterday and today to reflect the approval.

@tish squirewell I have continuously been updating my proof from the time I filed until now, not sure if that helped but I tried to upload as much picture proof and receipts as well as text messages possible. For the inquiry, I basically asked about the latest status of my case and its movement to which they responded that it’s processing within normal times. A month and a half later I got the approval.

@Liya B was the inquiry you sent only for the i130 or for both i130&i485?

Liya B thanks for responding when you say update your proof like what you talking and receipts for what ?

@tish squirewell Everytime we took pictures together or with family, I would submit the evidence onto the online portal. Receipts such as purchases with our names together, is something I also submitted and also mundane conversations with my partner. Intially I submitted a lot of proof (around 150 pages of pictures, messages, receipts and proof). I just submit more everytime I have gathered more.
