reason for why it was admin closed I was under removal proceedings.
August 29th 2022 JOINT MOTION TO RECALENDAR AND DISMISS WITHOUT PREJUDICE.
November 9th 2022 granted and they dismissed my case.
January 9th I found out my case was dismissed and I was trying to figure out why my lawyer didn’t even know yet. Found through EOIR case status online.
Juanary 19th I received the dismissal order from the immigration court house.
January 31st I Fedex overnight it to Houston field office along with a written request to reopen my i485 based on a court order.
I got info pass while all this was going on set for February 3rd to give them a copy of what I sent through fedex. Same day they reopen my case.
officer told me they might ask me for a new medical exam. March 30th I got RFE for medical, got it in hand April 3rd same day I got my first Covid shot. have to wait 21 days for my next Covid shot. before they can seal the medical exam.
April 24th fedex overnight to field office they deliver it the very next day April 25th at 9am.
May 2nd New Card Is Being Produced.
May 3rd Case Was Approved.
May 5th Card Was Mailed To Me.
May 10th Card Was Deliverd To Me By The Post Office.
I applied for my i485 November 18th 2018 (approved 5/2/2023)
I applied for my i130 2/12/2018 it was approved November 19 2019.
that’s my story thank you everyone who read it. and please guys don’t give up. I know is easy to say it once you get approved.

que bueno!!!! me está pasando lo mismo! el juez desestimó mi caso y envíe la solicitud para reabrir la i485 pero aún me aparece “Correspondance was received and Uscis is reviewing it” me puedes decir que field office tenía tu caso? y como hiciste para hacer la cita del info pass? GRACIASSS

@Mabel Lorena Hola field office Houston Texas tienes que mandar esa solicitud que ya no tienes orden deportación donde tienes tu caso.

The receive my on April 24 2023 and I also had to file eior 33 to change my address. I did all this on my own. And i130 approve but i485 denied because of RFE which is being appealed, my PD is in VA don’t know the time line, most people are saying 1 month

@waiting forever I was 11 years old got arrested crossing the border. applied for tps while I was facing immigration court. it was granted 8 months after I applied. so when I face the judge 👨⚖️ I had my social security card n work permit. so he administravely closed my removal proceedings. that was 2001. now fast forward to my interview 2019 it showed up that my case was admin closed (removal proceedings) so had to go back to court and try to get them dismissed.

I'm currently trying to reopen my I485 right.. also closed due to me being in removal. Already sent them my written request to reopen and copy court order. No response whatsoever that they received it. Did info pass trying to go in person to hand my order but no luck. they just did a referral to my FO and FO responded that they requested my file and I should get a decision, RFE or interview notice within the next 90 days.

I have the same story , had interview for both , only i130 was approved because of removal. judge terminated removal , now case is reopened. just received rfe for medical . hopefully mine goes as good as yours 🙏🏽

@los men I got exactly the same. I followed what you wrote here and my case went fluently without paying any fee for lawyer even not for motion to reopen fee. I just put all paperwork + judge decision inside envelope and a request to open notice haahahahah thank a lot.
