DID YOU ASK FOR RFE ?
God FirstJul 17, 2021
I always thought RFE delays your I-765….but in your case you did biometrics before responding to RFE.That’s interesting
what was your field office
Matt KnocheJul 17, 2021
my wife got the combo card back in January and now we are waiting for the Green card to get sent to our house
Matt KnocheJul 17, 2021
the RFE that we received was the form i-944 when it was still in place but it wasnt mentioned during the interview
Matt KnocheJul 17, 2021
Yeah, in our case it didnt delay! i dont think its related.. our office was the one in Fairfax, VA
God FirstJul 18, 2021
@matt what questions were asked…I am also in Nova and I am sure I will have mine at fairfax
Matt KnocheJul 20, 2021
@God First They asked me how did we first meet, when was our first date, what did we do, where did we go, when did we get engaged, how did i propose, what her birthday is, what vacations did we go on and what we did there
they asked her all the yes or no questions on the forms (have you ever done drugs, have you ever comitted a felony, etc), when my birthday was, when and where we got married, who was at the ceremony, did we have a celebration after, she also also asked about my wife’s student status even though it wasnt really applicable
and then she asked both of us why we chose/love the other person and then gave us some time to talk about our relationship (owning a dog together, meeting each others family, etc).
I got at least 2-3 dates wrong but the officer was nice enough to give me the benefit of the doubt with a lot of stuff. I think she understood I was bad with remembering dates lol
