Approval Timeline after Transfer to Field Office
Hi everyone, for those who have been approved for employment based green cards. How long after transfer to a field office was your case approved? please share timelines here.

how do you know if your case is transferred? does the status update or got to ask Emma?

@go green @Dharmesh Jha usually people find out through Emma, but sometimes they won’t tell you about the transfer. Status doesn’t update when transferred to field office. you just have to keep asking Emma or if you put congressional inquiry you’ll find out.

I don't think there is a standard timeline between case arrival at a field office and uts approval. From personal experience, an Emma agent first informed me that my case is being transferred from NBC to Fresno FO on 07/10. However the case did not get their until 07/17. Prior to its approval, I was reliably informed that the case was last reviewed by an officer on 07/30. it got approved on 08/02.

Filed in January (EB2 ROW), PD Dec22, on Jul30 case was tranferred to a non local FO (Columbus OH) and got approved today Aug16.
