Approval notice
Hi all,
I just received a surprise I-485 approval notice in the mail today (12/26). Looks like they approved on 12/21 but the status online remained stuck at the prior step until they sent the actual card on 12/28 which I received on 12/29. The end of a 2.5 years process, very happy!!!

@Alex R what ware the interview questions? And I heard EB green card interviews have been waived why you? Just curious

@It Sucks 😡 My lawyer said I was selected for interview because I ticked yes to a question because I had traffic citations. It was very straightforward. The only employment related questions were "who do you work for, since when, and what's your current job". Then a bunch of questions repeated from the I-485 form (are you a terrorist, do you deal drugs, that sort of things) and also more like identity questions (name, dob, when was first entry in the US, etc). Between me and wife it took barely an hour. And then they said they needed to review the application thoroughly and couldn't give a timeline (my attorney said it should be 30 to 60 days for approval). They ended up approving on 12/21 and I received the notice on 12/26 and the actual green card on 12/29.
