Approval notice not received
Hello community, Please I need all the help and guidance.
NY VAWA was approved on Feb 22, 2024 unfortunately I did not receive my approval notice due to an address issue which was changed but not updated on my VAWA case file. Furthermore, I was able to receive my approved EAD which was filed for renewal before VAWA approval and my EAD was delivered to my new address unlike the VAWA approval notice which I believe was mailed to my old address and I have tried to make inquiries which was responded to but I never received the response as well.
please how do I proceed with getting a copy of my VAWA approval notice? Thank you all

@Al Rodri I have submitted e-request and I did not receive any response and I have requested again the second time using my current address waiting for there response. The first time case was assigned to an officer and a response was issued which I did not received.

if you used a lawyer their response will be the correspondence ll be your lawyer. same thing happened to me. later they replied me that it’s only my representative that they can respond to which they did few weeks after. and it was my approval notice. now I am waiting for my new EAD card which has been pending for 18days now.

@dee bee, Did they also send your previous prima facies and receipt notice to your lawyer OR was it only the VAWA approval notice that they sent to your lawyer?
I am also in the same boat, VAWA approval online since last year but no paper notice OR EAD.

you don’t need approval letter. it happened to me 64 days ago card was delivered to me. 8 days ago RFE (medical) for green card

Thank you all for your response. We'll have my 5-years EAD under the C09 category and I am contemplating filing a standalone AP while I await a decision on my pending i-485. Please for people who have been through the vawa process how long did u wait after i-360 approval, before they make a decision on the pending i-485?
