@rickitik c RFIE is Request for Intial Evidence. They normally ask for birth certificate on this or any other missing documents.

I’m in the same boat!! submitted the RFIE response regarding birth record last week and updated that USCIS received after few days later. did you get EAD and AP??

@youngman lee Yes, my EAD and travel document was approved in December.

@Jorge Alberto My AOS was 11/22, biometrics on 12/14, EAD and I-131 approved on 12/15.

@Huzaifa Hasan Your timeline is looking great! You already have EAD and AP approved. Mine is similar as yours, 11/28 and biometrics 12/22. EAD approved as well. We should get approval soon. I am EB2 category, I think same as you.

@Jorge Alberto Yes, im in EB2. I got an RFIE for borth certificate, I submitted the response and I'm still waiting for an approval. Most of the people similar to my recipt no. have received approval. Hopefully we will get approval soon. As per casestatus website, they approved 72 people with MSC249017 series on Saturday. Hopefully they can keep up with the pace.

@Huzaifa Hasan usually when there’s a RFIE/RFE, the “delay” it’s only a few days/ couple of weeks. I am pretty sure you will get there soon!

@Jorge Alberto @Huzaifa Hasan im also on eb2, got rfie and responded 12/27, officer said generally the decision will come out 60 days after submission of rfie response so im waiting til feb 27 BUT still hoping approval will come even earlier than the 60th day.

I have noticed on lawfully that people with RFE or RFIE have started to receive approvals. Hopefully we will receive approvals soon as well.

hey guys I am in same boat too I received an RFE in December 2023 and responded in January, USCIS only update that they received the RFE response, after that only silence from USCIS. I am in EB2 ROW category.

My EAD and AP is not approved approved till date, is there anyone in same boat
