485 Approval after Medical RFE
Hi all, My status has been RFER (RFE Received) for 53 days. The RFP was for Medical/i693 form. I’ve seen people getting approved within days or a few weeks of submitting. I beleive I can open SR at 60 day mark. Anyone waiting more that 60 days and filed an SR? Any insight and experience in similar situation welcome!

I raised SR after 60 days. They told its still within overall processing time and is pending review. Now raised another SR after it became outside processing time. Almost 4 months after submitting medicals and waiting.

my medicals were received Nov 29, nothing yet. my lawyer had cases approved in 2 weeks and cases waiting for 6 months, so it’s complicated

I thought my interview would be lifted after the RFE for medical, but it was not. now it has been 13 months that I did the interview and no response.

Thanks SK and EdD. I wonder what causes the delay in some and not others. Best of luck to you both!

did you all get medical RFE from a processing center or a FO? does it make a difference?

thanka LD. I sent it to FO-however was not the one that should have had jurisdiction. when I chat with Emma I get different answer so I’m not sure where my case is now

Todays update: An officer from the field office visited my office for verification and conducted more of an interview with me on-site. Fingers crossed 🤞

@R H, in my case, they told me that the file is with NBC and the case is pending at FO, where they issued RFE and I submitted in FO. And today also the officer came from FO. Once the FO gives the signal, NBC will take a final call on the case.
