Don’t be! is your vawa approved? if so, just review your i-485 and if you have had any citations or convictions take the disposition from the court with you, if you’ve ever worked without authorization make sure to tell the truth- lying will lead to denial. If your vawa is still pending review your i-360 and personal statement as well, as they may ask some dates of the abuse. Some lucky people only get the identification confirmation (name, DOB, country of birth) and then the yes/no questions. Best of luck!

From the research I’ve done and what I’ve read online, it’s unlikely they’ll ask you about the abuse or go into the VAWA details again. The interview will mostly be about confirming your eligibility for the green card things like your immigration history, identity, and medical exam. Good luck, and congrats on your approval! @d s I just had my interview today for I-485 and yes only yes and no questions and they want to make sure you don't have any that may disqualify you for the I-485 I was proved today

hello @d s i submitted my vawa in nov of 2020, once that was approved in feb of 2024 i sent my medical and gc app together in march 2024 and i had received only 3 transfers which led to it at the NVC but i was not notified of it being here in Los Angeles nor a notification for interview .. its been a long journey for sure !

@a g llama a uscis si tienes un abogado que hable contigo la paralegal y diles a uscis que le das permiso a tu paralegal que pregunte por tu caso en la llamada para que miren que esta pasando tambien hoy tube mi emtrevista te hacen preguntas de toda la i485 es solo Si y No la respuesta,tambien me preguntaron entre a los estados unidos,cuantos hijos tengo,cuantos tatuajes tengo y de que son,donde trabajas,que ano llegastes a los estados unidos,si has salido y si pides ayuda del govierno,si has tenido algun ticket o algo en el record
