applying greencard for brother
hello guys i am citizen and brother is inside usa you with F1 visa. if i apply greencard for him will he get work permit within 3 months ? i know greencard takes 10 years or so.

if you apply for I765 together ( combo card I485,I765) he will probably get the work permit before green card, but not sure if it will be exactly 3 months. All the process are too late. But give a try.

He can’t adjust until the visa number is available. My sister who is a citizen files for me 8 years ago and I have never become current till today. I received my greencard through other way

First depends on the service center. NBC is the fastest but still could be longer than three months. My case is in Texas, and I waited 15 months for my combo card. The current processing time is up to 18 months, Nebraska is similar.
