Has your I-130 already been approved? And will the embassy issue you a student visa (non-immgrant visa) when your F2A ( immgrant visa) is pending? As far as I have heard, most probably they won’t. Even they won’t issue a tourist visa.

if you have money and can pay for visa fee to the the embassy. I'd do it. no harm to try. unfortunately chances are very slim.
