Eye Mini... I think you have a probable reason for an expedited case. Just let USCIS know you have a financial constraint - as it is one of the few reasons you could be eligible to expedite a case. And they will start asking for proof as soon as they received your expedited request - that's when you need to convince them with whatever you have, such as your husband's admission letter, the last pay stub he received at work, etc. Mind you, if he's still currently working and only having the premonition of going to school in the future, I don't think USCIS will approve the case expedition. They are just doing the beginning of May applications so think you have 2-3 months to wait so worth expediting if you can

be careful about 864 where your husband declared that he can financially support you. I don't know the details of your case but most expedite ead cases I've seen so far come from a lost for the company not personal.

2 months ago, I got my EAD expedited due to the reason my husband has disability, no job and we had an 11 months old baby. And got my AOS approved after a month.

MJ I am happy for you. my husband isn’t disabled it’s more of a personal reason so it might now qualify for us.

I tried expediting on October 11th and it was denied, my reason is financial hardship, USCIS asked for more evidence and I faxed over the same day, A day latter they denied. my husband works PT, he’s got a disability and gets SSD. we have a special needs kid and she’s got needs that requires money. yet uscis denied. this system is unfair. you can try your luck not everyone gets the same outcome.

I am sorry Chrissy. that’s definitely not fair. I am sure there are people out there who get approved for far less reasons.

yes trust me, I was in an immigration forum on fb and I saw people expediting just for expediting sake and they got approved.

@eye mini there’s no harm in trying. and when the even deny it don’t give up. keeping requesting and you will be approved. @chrissy it is well. keep trying. some of the officers are really mean and some are very kind. I pray y’all find a kind hearted one🙏🏻
