Application is at local field office and interview waived but no change in system.
Hi, I spoke to an agent through Emma and he told me my application is at my local field office and our interview has been waived but there is no update in the system. How many days will it take to get approval?

ummmm that’s generic. it could be tomorrow or next year. there’s no timeline for these things. everyone has a different experience. I was told a year ago my interview has been waived. it just went to a field office a month ago. waiting… 🤷🏻‍♀️

@sam l yea I know. I thought my case was open and shut and here I am 13.5 months later… 🤷🏻‍♀️

@sam l This sounds contradictory. The only reason your case will get to your local field office is to conduct an interview. if interview was waived, it will remain and get approved at the service center or NBC level. I might be wrong but let us know how it goes.

@Rocco Forté I saw this in few posts online. They send it to the field office and they can decide whether to call for interview or not.
