Appeal
Earlier this year, my son’s case was denied and I wrote it here, I applied for form 290B,i got a mail that it was approved on the 9th even though it has not updated on lawfully. The mail states that they have determined that they have sufficient grounds to reopen and the denial has been withdrawn therefore ordered for a new decision to be made on the case. please my question is how long will it take to make a decision on his case? Mine is still pending since March 24.

same with mine from Feb 19 pending his case was reopened but on the site I saw the processing time is 18.5 months

@Kay Thompson i am sorry I don’t understand. Is it pending his initial PD? or pending from the day that it was reopened that is 18.5 months? because we have been waiting from March 2024,he is a minor too.

@Lilian A the day it was reopened . his case was reopened on February 19 . but I saw where they say the processing time at National Benefits Center the processing time is 18.5 months so I guess next year I will see.

@Kay Thompson oh my goodness,we have waited a year plus and we are still going to wait more? This is really disheartening

When we contacted USCIS we were told we fall under normal processing time and we can only inquiry on 17th July 2025
