how did you raise the expedite request and how long did it take?

looks like your processing time for AP was within the normal window.. in that case how were you able to expedite this? please let us know. I want to expedite my dependent AP as has been 15 months since filing and uscisays that we have to wait another nine months before contacting them

I called the USCIS number and asked to expedite on humanitarian grounds. Placed the request around 1st week of October. Request and case were both approved within a month without any evidence request.

congrats I recently putting my expedite request also first week October my pd may 22 2023, November 4th makes 1 month

@A H congrats on your expedite! what was the humanitarian grounds you specified in your call? could you please give more detail?

@A H in my case, the primary applicant’s AP got approved but I’m still waiting and I really need to travel so the information you could provide on this really helps 🙏 thank you!

@A H Thank you for your response.. it would be very helpful if you explain the humanitarian grounds you mentioned to the live agent? were you ready with any documentatuon? how were you ble to get past the automated system? i am thinking of reaching out to local congressman's office to expedite dependent AP, but am not sure if calling directly is a better option..

I called the 800 number directly and said "expedite my case" a bunch of times to get a live agent. I explained to the live agent my situation about a close family member having a medical emergency. I already had supporting documents from their doctor at the time, but I was not asked to submit anything

@eb3 skilled I reaches out to the local congressman's office yesterday and requested them to help with expediting AP.. unfortunately they said they can ddo that only if there is an emergency.. this is as per the lady who took my call
