my AP expires in december and want to apply for renewal too, i have a question do we have to pay fee again or is it free when renewing!

@Barb B my lawyer wants $750 for filling out the AP form, but I'm interested in whether we need to pay the fee again for the I-131 form, $575? some people write here that you don't need to pay when renewing, but my lawyer says that you need to! I want to try to apply for AP renewal myself

@Vitaliy 123 I called the uscis they said is the same fee $575 to renew 😓 many lawyers website affirmed that it is free. but the agent was clear to me about the $575

@Vitaliy 123 im going to do that nothing to loose. how long have you been work? I just used my AP one time, and my husband got two years I just got one 😓

@Barb B I have been working for my employer since 2014 as a seasonal worker and we started the GC process in 2020, I work on a farm! I have already used my AP once and plan to use it again before the end of its term!

@Barb B We (me, my wife and son) received an AP for one year and a work authorization card for two years

no fees. Honestly, it’s so easy to file that u guys don’t even need an attorney to help. Just basic info from you and from your pending case and make sure u send it to the right address. Everything can be found on USCIS website @Vitaliy 123

how long does the AP last? mine should be approved soon and I want to travel in July 2024 and I am not sure if I would be able to.

i did my AP renewal recently. it was based on family based pending I-485. I filed myself and didn’t pay for filing fee as well
