Receipt notices for AoS take time unlike others. It can be anywhere between 1-6 weeks. How long has it been since it was delivered?

@amdsk a - A week ago, I submitted I-485, I-765, and I-131 together. Some people mentioned that they received receipt notices within 2-3 days.

@hb cloud for me it was 7-8 weeks

@hb cloud if you have text notifications enabled you should get receipt numbers before the mail

@amdsk a - Thanks, I have not seen any option for opting for text messages in those forms. Is it a standard process to send text messages?

@Gary Roh - it’s a long wait. have you received text message before receiving the notice?

The option for text would have been included in your original submission by adding Form G1145. Anyways, mine took 12days. Got the notice and text same day

@Mae Awo - Thanks. I did not include form G1145. Is it possible to send it after the submission?

@hb cloud Unfortunately you can only send it with other forms. Don’t worry. The receipts will come but it will just take time because they check your forms thoroughly and check eligibility and then route to another center for processing. that’s why it takes 1-8 weeks. Just be patient, it will come. you can also check with a live agent via Emma after some time to see if they can give you receipt numbers. If it entered in the system, they will be able to give it to you before it comes in the mail.

Yes each one will have a separate one of you submitted the form with initially. I'm not sure of one suffice but I guessed the each form would be treated separately so I attached separate G1145 to each form

I filed on June 25 and received text on June 30.

We got notices after ~20 days. May 12th application received , May 30th received receipt notice.

my husband’s EB1 A petition was received on the 27th of June and he has not received a text or receipt notice till date
