@A C EB2 visas aren't available upto October 1, so maybe that's why she can't approve..

@Charlie SC doesn’t that apply for consulates or embassy offices only? i thought AOS isn’t impacted. thank you for your opinion though

@A C did you get RFE or directly interview?

@M K we got RFE for birth certificate detail and then interview.

@A C It applies for AOS and Consular processing. DOS and USCIS are out of visas until October 1st when the new fiscal year starts. Everthing is paused currently.

@A C, Congratulations on your pending approval. As it sounds, the officer just needs visas to be available to you based on your classification. So, you are good to go!

@Mr BD, I am not entirely sure about this. Following casestatusext.com, I can see that GC are still being approved to some persons. I am not sure why that is the case even though USCIS has announced that they are out of visas for this FY24. Just curious to know when they make those visa allocations along the processing steps.

@Rijo Rijo Are these cases you are referring to not family based adjustments? I don’t believe they are out of family visas……F1 through F4.

I was interviewed at San Antonio FO last month. The approval came after 4 weeks.

@CRP FEB 2024 did the official say you were approved at the end of the interview? 4 weeks will be hard to wait! 😅

@Oz taha and @Mr BD, I am referring to employment based AOS within my block. Even this morning, I noticed that a case within my block changed go NCBP. So, where are USCIS getting those visas if they have truly exhausted all visas this FY24?

@A C you applied for immigrants visa which is a permanent resident card, if the officer says he/she needs to look for a visa for you, it could be next month before you get a feedback as the new fiscal year start in Oct 1st for government.

@Richard Kabanda michelle at bgt law firm. She seemed good until she messed me up by submitting my rfe late due to technical error on their part. Besides that my case was weak n no one would touch it but she paved a way to draft so it could answer all three prongs. Just make sure you stay ahead of the game in terms of timeline.
